Abstract: DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING POLLUTION AT CONSTRUCTION SITES 5 In an embodiment of the present disclosure device (100) for controlling pollution at construction sites is disclosed. The device (100) comprises enclosed screen (106), opening and closing mechanism, pair of layers, filtration unit, blower unit and a sound absorbing layers. The enclosed screen (106) is positioned on an outer surface of a self-climbing platform (102). The pair of layers comprises a porous layer and 10 a non-porous layer. The filtration unit (404) is integrated with the enclosed screen (106). The blower unit (406) is coupled with a structural framework of the enclosed screen (106). The blower unit (406) draws air through the filters and maintain consistent air flow. Sound absorbing layers are integrated with the pair of layers. During operation, enclosed screen (106) expands or collapse in response to varying 15 height requirements and reduces air contamination and noise levels.
We claim:
1. A device (100) for controlling pollution at construction sites comprising:
an enclosed screen (106) positioned on an outer surface of a selfclimbing platform (102), wherein the enclosed screen (106) comprises:
5 an opening and closing mechanism, wherein the opening and closing
mechanism comprises:
a linear actuators connected to the enclosed screen (106);
a pully system connected to a frame of the enclosed screen to push
or pull the enclosed screen (106) in desired position using the linear
10 actuator, thereby enabling smooth and controlled movement of the
enclosed screen (106);
a pair of layers, wherein the pair of layers comprises a porous layer (408)
and a non-porous layer;
a filtration unit (404), integrated with the enclosed screen (106), wherein
15 the filtration unit (404) comprises a multistage filters for filtering large
particles, fine dust and odour;
a blower unit (406), coupled with a structural framework of the enclosed
screen (106), wherein the blower unit (406) is configured to draw air through
the filters and maintain consistent air flow; and
20 a sound absorbing layers integrated with the pair of layers, wherein the
sound absorbing layers are configured to reduce noise levels by absorbing
sound waves generated on a construction site; and
wherein during an operation, the enclosed screen (106) expands or
collapse in response to varying height requirements and reduces air
25 contamination and noise levels.
2. The device (100) for controlling pollution at construction sites as claimed
in claim1, wherein the enclosed screen (106) comprises a series of folds and pleats
distributed on the surface of the enclosed screen (106), wherein the series of folds
and pleats are configured to expand and retract the enclosed screen (106) without
30 requiring excessive space.
