Drive Device And Deterioration Discrimination Method

Abstract: A drive device (1) comprises a power supply circuit (11) and a deterioration discrimination device (16). The power supply circuit (11) outputs to a load apparatus current that includes a current component with a frequency determined by: the natural frequency of a constituent element of the load apparatus; the natural frequency of a vibration receiving member that vibrates by receiving transmission of vibration resulting from electromagnetic acceleration produced by the load apparatus; or a value that is a natural number multiple of the rotational frequency of a rotating rotor among constituent elements. The deterioration discrimination device (16) generates frequency domain data from a sensor signal output by a vibration sensor (93) and on the basis of a frequency spectrum value indicated by the frequency domain data in the natural frequency or the rotational frequency used to determine the frequency of the current component discriminates whether the constituent element of the load apparatus or the vibration receiving member has deteriorated.
