Abstract: ABSTRACT AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) BASED METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RAW MATERIAL HANDLING FOR A PLANT Disclosed herein is AI based method and system for raw material handling for a plant. The method comprises controlling unloading of at least one type of raw material from raw material carrying equipments in a yard, based on a priority index indicative of a priority assigned for each possible combination of a raw material carrying equipment and a route taken by a conveyor equipment from the raw material carrying equipment to the yard. The method comprises controlling feeding of at least one type of raw material from the yard to the plant based on an optimal time for feeding the at least one type of raw material into storage units of the plant, best possible combination of a raw material carrying equipment and a route taken by a conveyor equipment, and a yard area containing at least one type of raw material available for the feeding.
