Method For Beneficiation Of High Phosphorous Containing Iron Ore
Abstract: “METHOD FOR BENEFICIATION OF HIGH PHOSPHOROUS CONTAINING IRON ORE” ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a method for beneficiation of high phosphorous containing iron ore. The method particularly comprises reducing the particle size of the initial high phosphorous iron ore to liberate phosphorous and performing flotation process to remove the phosphorous. The method has advantages such as complete liberation of phosphorous from iron ore at finer size fraction (phosphorous liberation from both iron minerals and gangue particles) which otherwise is technically very challenging and energy intensive apart from being an economically viable and less cumbersome process.
