A Method For Reducing Haematite Ore To Magnetite Ore And An Apparatus Thereof

Abstract: ABSTRACT “A METHOD FOR REDUCING HAEMATITE ORE TO MAGNETITE ORE AND AN APPARATUS THEREOF” The present disclosure discloses an apparatus (200) for reducing haematite ore to magnetite and a method (100) for reducing thereof. The apparatus (200) includes an electrically conducting container (1) structured to receive haematite ore and an electrode (2) structured as a conduit (3) positioned in the electrically conducting container (1). receive and supply a gas to the electrically conducting container (1). The apparatus (200) includes at least one power source to supply power to the electrode (2) and the electrically conducting container (1). With such configuration, the apparatus (200) may reduce the haematite ore to magnetite ore by using CO2 from blast furnace exhaust and may reduce or eliminate need for complex apparatus (200) and complex processes and may incur minimal expenses.
