Abstract: TITLE: “A LOW ALLOY ULTRA-HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF” ABSTRACT The present disclosure discloses a low alloy ultra-high-strength steel, comprising an alloying composition in weight % (wt.%) of: Carbon (C) in range of 0.25% - 0.35%, Manganese (Mn) in range of 1.8% - 2.2%, Sulphur (S) less than 0.01%, Silicon (Si) in range of 0.2%-1.0%, Phosphorus (P) in range of 0.01%-0.02%, Aluminium (Al) in range of 0.02%-0.9%, Boron (B) in range of 0.0002%-0.001%, Chromium (Cr) in range of 0.2%-0.9%, Zirconium (Zr) in range of 0.0%-0.3%, Copper (Cu) in range of 0.1%-0.6%, Molybdenum (Mo) in range of 0.1%-0.4%, Niobium (Nb) in range of 0.001%-0.07%, Nickel (Ni) in range of 0.001%-0.5%, Titanium (Ti) in range of 0.001% - 0.07%, Nitrogen (N) in range of 0.0001% - 0.0012%, and balance being iron and incidental impurities. The low alloy ultra-high strength steel comprises a microstructure including martensite and retained austenite. Figure 1.
