A Modular Support Structure For A Crane

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a modular support structure for a crane (9) employed at high altitudes. The structure (100) includes a first section (1) positioned on top of the crane (9). The first section (1) includes a plurality of first sub-sections (7) having a plurality of connecting members (3) and a plurality of first brackets (4). Further, the structure (100) includes a second section (2) extending at an angle from an end of the first section (1) and forms an overhang. The second section (2) includes a plurality of second sub-sections (8) having the plurality of connecting members (3) and the plurality of first brackets (4). The modular support structure (100) is configured to lift and support objects on the crane (9) as well as facilitate lifting operations when components have to be lifted from a ground level to the top of the crane (9).
