Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING OPTIMAL BURDEN MATRIX FOR BLAST FURNACE ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a method and a system of determining an optimal burden matrix for a blast furnace. The method includes receiving 5 first information corresponding to predefined process parameters associated with the blast furnace at a first period. The method includes generating a set of burden matrices based on burden constraints associated with each burden ring of the blast furnace at the first period. The method includes predicting second information corresponding to blast 10 furnace stability parameters for each of the set of burden matrices, based on an analysis of the historical data. The method includes comparing the predicted second information with preferred information corresponding to the blast furnace stability parameters for each burden matrix of the set of the burden matrices. The method includes determining the optimal burden matrix from the set of burden matrices, based 15 on the comparison. [Fig. 5]
