Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING OPTIMAL OPERATING PARAMETERS OF A MINERAL PROCESSING DEVICE Disclosed herein is a method and a system for determining optimal operating parameters of a mineral processing device. The method (300) comprises determining (301) height of the 5 mineral processing device (105) at which a concentrate is being received, based on a movement of at least one particle of a crushed ore and a density distribution of the at least one particle in the crushed ore, across an ore feeding bed (110). The method further comprises determining (302) an operating frequency of a pulse producing tool (107) based on the on one or more characteristics of the crushed ore and a frequency of pulsation. The 10 method further comprises controlling a valve opening based on an ore feeding rate determined at the operating frequency and a stroke length of the pulse producing tool (107) to control rate of stream supplied to a hutch (108) of the mineral processing device (105).
