A System To Produce Briquettes For A Blast Furnace And Basic Oxygen Furnace
Abstract: TITLE: A SYSTEM TO PRODUCE BRIQUETTES FOR A BLAST FURNACE AND BASIC OXYGEN FURNACE ABSTRACT A system (100) to produce briquettes for a blast furnace and a basic oxygen furnace is disclosed. The system (100) includes a raw material storage 5 section (101) configured to store: wet materials and dry materials, and a binder material storage section. A first proportioning unit (107) and a second proportioning unit (114) is provided for regulating a feed of the materials. A mixer (116) is configured to mix the materials from the first proportioning unit (107), and the second proportioning unit 10 (114) to form a homogenous mixture. A controller (126) is communicatively coupled with the first proportioning unit (107), and the second proportioning unit (114). The controller (126) is configured to: determine a composition of the homogenous mixture, operate the first proportioning unit (107) and the second proportioning unit (114) to regulate the feed of the materials, and operate a briquetting unit (120) to produce 15 briquettes.
