Abstract: “DUAL COATED IRON SUBSTRATE AND 5 METHODS THEREOF” ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to an insulated iron substrate. Particularly, the present disclosure 10 provides a dual coated iron substrate comprising a first insulating boron oxide layer and a second insulating phosphate layer over a base iron substrate. The dual coat confers to the iron substrate improved electrical insulation and oxidation resistance properties. Further provided herein is a method to prepare the insulated iron substrate and application(s) thereof.
