A Method For Manufacturing A Gold Alloy Product

Abstract: TITLE: “A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A GOLD ALLOY PRODUCT” ABSTRACT In the present disclosure a method for manufacturing a gold alloy product is disclosed. The method includes casting a gold alloy of a claimed composition. The ingot is subjected to first rolling and first annealing process and quenched. Further, subjecting, the quench-annealed ingot to a second rolling process to form a strip, which is further subjected to a second annealing process and cooled at a predetermined rate. The gold strip is further subjected a winding process followed by a shearing operation to make individual kada strips. The wound strip is further joined through a soldering process to make a kada blank, which is further machined, polished, and subjected to a surface cleaning process to make a finished gold alloy kada product. The gold alloy product exhibits a load bearing capacity of 3.5 kgf to 5.5 kgf. The current method of manufacturing produces a durable product without affecting the inherit properties of the gold alloy with minimum alloy addition. Figure. 1 is a representative figure.
