System And Method For Light Performance Measurement Of A Diamond

Abstract: Present disclosure discloses method and system to determine light performance parameters of diamonds. System comprises plurality of light sources configured to incident light on diamond. Plurality of light sources comprises first light source configured to incident diffused light on diamond to determine brilliance. Second light source configured to incident point light on diamond to determine fire. Third light source configured to incident high intensity light on diamond to determine scintillation. Image capturing device configured to capture first, second, and third set of images upon irradiation of diamond by first, second and third light source respectively. Processor is configured to receive first set, the second set, and third set of images. Processor is configured to convert each image of first, second, and third set of images to respective pixel representations. Processor is configured to determine plurality of light performance parameters based on pixel count in respective pixel representations.
