Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING NETWORK DESIGN DOCUMENTS USING GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) MODELS ABSTRACT This disclosure relates to a method and a system for generating a network design 5 document for a communication network using a generative AI model (312). The method includes receiving (502), by the generative AI model (312), a user query corresponding to the communication network to generate the network design document for the communication network. The method further includes retrieving (504), by the generative AI model (312), current network information associated with the communication network using a predefined retrieving 10 technique, upon receiving the user query. The method further includes processing (506), by the generative AI model (312), the user query and the current network information associated with the communication network. We Claim:
1. A method for generating a network design document for a communication network using a
generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) model (312), the method comprising:
5 receiving (502), by the generative AI model (312), a user query corresponding to the
communication network to generate the network design document for the communication
network;
upon receiving the user query, retrieving (504), by the generative AI model (312), current
network information associated with the communication network, using a predefined retrieving
10 technique;
processing (506), by the generative AI model (312), the user query and the current
network information associated with the communication network; and
in response to the processing, generating (508) in a pre-defined format, by the generative
AI model (312), the network design document for the communication network.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, comprising:
training, the generative AI model (312) based on network data of a plurality of
communication networks associated with an entity, wherein the network data comprises network
design and build documentation data for a set of network requirements, network use cases data,
20 and network topologies data.
3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pre-defined retrieving technique is a Retrieval
Augmented Generation (RAG) technique, a model fine tuning technique, and a parameter
efficient fine tuning (PEFT) technique.

4. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the network design document is one of a highlevel design document, a low-level design document, a deployment design document, and a
network security policies and guidelines document.
30 5. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein generating in a pre-defined format the network
design document for the communication network comprises:
generating, by the generative AI model (312), the network design document based on an
autoregressive language modeling.

6. The method as claimed in claim 1, comprising:
rendering (602), via a Graphical User Interface (GUI) on a device associated with a user,
the network design document generated for the communication network.

7. The method as claimed in claim 1, comprising:
receiving (604), by the generative AI model (312) from a device associated with a user,
feedback corresponding to the network design document; and
updating (606) the generative AI model (312) based on the feedback.

8. A system for generating a network design document for a communication network using a
generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) model (312), the system comprising:
a processing circuitry (202); and
a memory (204) communicative coupled to the processing circuitry (202), wherein the
15 memory (204) stores processor instructions, which when executed by the processing circuitry
(202), cause the processing circuitry (202) to:
receive (502) a user query corresponding to the communication network to
generate the network design document for the communication network,
upon receiving the user query, retrieve (504) current network information
20 associated with the communication network using a predefined retrieving technique,
process (506) the user query and the current network information associated with
the communication network, and
in response to the processing, generate (508) in a pre-defined format the network
design document for the communication network.

9. The system as claimed in claim 8, wherein the generative AI model (312) is pretrained based
on network data of a plurality of communication networks associated with an entity, and wherein
the network data comprises network design and build documentation data for a set of network
requirements, network use cases data, and network topologies data.

10. The system as claimed in claim 8, wherein the processor instructions, on execution, further
cause the processing circuitry (202) to:

receive (604), by the generative AI model (312) from a device associated with a user,
feedback corresponding to the network design document; and
update (606) the generative AI model (312) based on the feedback.
