Description:TECHNICAL FIELD

The present subject matter relates to a vehicle, more particularly, packaging of a speaker in the vehicle for ease of audibility by a user of the vehicle.
BACKGROUND

In general, a vehicle is provided with a plurality of electrical and non-5 electrical components. In conventional vehicles, a speaker is disposed in the vehicle for intimating a user about traffic conditions, any alert messages, or for informing about an incoming call on a communication device of the user.

In conventional vehicles, the speaker is wirelessly connected with a control unit of the vehicle and a control unit of the communication device. In conventional 10 vehicles, the speaker is generally disposed in proximity of a seat of the vehicle.

In the above configuration, the packaging of the speaker in proximity of the seat is easier because of available space in the vehicle layout. Further, the speaker is also secured by cover panels which protects the speaker from any external damages. 15

However, in the above configuration, the sound emitted by the speaker gets muffled out by incoming traffic noise, or by the noise from an internal combustion engine or a motor of the vehicle. This in turn reduces the quality of the audio signal being received by the user and thereby disrupts vehicle maneuverability of the user.

Furthermore, in some conventional vehicles, the speaker is disposed in 20 proximity of an instrument cluster of the vehicle. In this configuration, the speaker and the instrument cluster is wirelessly connected, however the speaker is still disposed away from an audible range of the user. Thereby, the problem of inaudibility of the sounds emitted from the speaker by the user persists.

Hence, it is preferred to package the speaker at an optimum location where 25 the sound emitted by the speaker is easily audible by the user without disturbing the existing layout of the vehicle.

The present subject matter provides packaging of one or more speaker unit of a vehicle in a front portion of the vehicle, and the one or more speaker unit is mounted to a central portion of a main tube of the vehicle.

As per an aspect of the present invention, a vehicle comprising a frame 5 assembly and one or more speaker unit. The frame assembly comprising one or more main tube. The one or more speaker unit is disposed on a central portion of the one or more main tube using one or more mounting brackets.

As per an embodiment, the one or more speaker unit is configured to be connected to an instrument cluster of the vehicle using a wireless connection. 10 Further, the one or more speaker unit is a Bluetooth speaker.

As per another embodiment, the one or more mounting brackets is configured to receive the one or more speaker unit through a snap fit mechanism.

In one embodiment, the vehicle (100) is a two wheeled vehicle, a three wheeled vehicle, and a multi wheeled vehicle. In another embodiment, the vehicle (100) is powered 5 by one of an internal combustion engine, an electric motor powered by a battery, or both. The frame assembly (108) is provided with one or more main tube (112). In one embodiment, the frame assembly (108) comprising a suspension assembly (not shown) provided in a front portion of the vehicle (100) when viewed along a longitudinal axis of the vehicle (100). The frame assembly (108) also supporting a 10 headlamp assembly (104) disposed in the front portion of the vehicle (100). The frame assembly (108) further comprising a headtube (not shown). The vehicle (100) comprising an instrument cluster (102) for providing display information to a user of the vehicle (100). The headtube of the frame assembly (108) further comprising a handlebar assembly (106) disposed on the front portion of the vehicle (100) for 15 providing maneuverability of the vehicle (100).

In one embodiment, the one or more main tube (112) comprising a central portion. The central portion extending rearwardly from the headtube (not shown) in the vehicle (100). In one embodiment, one or more speaker unit is disposed on the central portion of the one or more main tube (112).
