Specification

Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[001] The present subject matter relates to a vehicle, more particularly, a design of a mounting bracket for mounting a vehicle component for the vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[002] In general, a vehicle comprises of a frame assembly and a plurality of 5 vehicle components. The plurality of vehicle components are mounted on the frame assembly of the vehicle using one or more vehicle component mounting brackets through one or more fasteners.
[003] In general, a three wheeled vehicle includes a jack in the vehicle. The jack is used for lifting the vehicle when the vehicle halts due to a flattened tire. The jack 10 is operated through a key, which is also known as a jack rod. The jack rod is inserted into the jack and the jack is rotated through a lever for lifting the vehicle and for providing access to a person to change the flattened tire of the vehicle.
[004] In a conventional three wheeled vehicle, the jack is disposed in a toolbox of the vehicle. The toolbox is provided below a load deck or above a floorboard in a 15 cargo three wheeled vehicle. The toolbox is attached to a driver seat compartment and a portion of the floorboard of the vehicle using one or more fasteners. The toolbox is locked through a lock and key mechanism.
[005] However, the disposition of the jack and the jack rod in the toolbox has numerous problems. Firstly, the jack and the jack rod is not rigidly mounted inside 20 the toolbox which causes free movement of the jack and the jack rod during the vehicle running condition. This lack of stability can be problematic as it not only leads to disorganization within the toolbox but also poses potential safety hazards. The uncontrolled motion of these tools can increase the risk of damage, injury, or accidents, making it imperative to address this issue for the sake of both vehicle 25 maintenance and road safety.
[006] This lack of rigidity results in both components experiencing unrestricted movement while the vehicle is in motion. As a consequence, this unsecured placement leads to unwanted sounds emanating from the toolbox. These noises can be not only irritating but also potentially distracting for the driver and passengers, 30 impacting the overall comfort and safety of the vehicle.
3
[007] Furthermore, the free movement of the jack and the jack rod causes the jack to hit other components such as vehicle tools, like spanner, and thereby cause damage or breakage to both the jack as well as the vehicle tools.
[008] Moreover, if the toolbox have not been locked properly, then during the vehicle running condition, the jack and the jack rod may even fall off from the 5 vehicle due to lack of rigid mounting mechanism. Furthermore, this conventional configuration of the jack and jack rod doesn’t make the jack and the jack rod theft proof.
[009] Furthermore, the toolbox is provided hanging on one of a left side and a right side of the vehicle. This configuration makes the toolbox prone to damage 10 during a vehicle accident and thus the jack and the jack rod is easily damaged.
[010] In conventional three wheeled electric cargo vehicles, no toolbox is provided because the region below the load deck or above the floorboard of the vehicle is used for disposition of electric batteries and traction motor of the vehicle. Thus, it becomes difficult to package the jack and the jack rod in the conventional 15 electric three wheeled cargo vehicles.
[011] Hence, it is preferred to have a configuration for rigidly packaging the jack and the jack mounting bracket in the vehicle without causing any change in the existing vehicle layout of the vehicle.
