Abstract: ABSTRACT A BATTERY PACK AND A BATTERY THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR A REMOTELY OPERATED VEHICLE The present disclosure relates to a battery pack for a remotely operated vehicle is disclosed. The battery pack comprises a hull having an opening and defining a cavity configured to receive a battery unit therein. An insulating layer is disposed on an inner surface of the hull and at least one thermoelectric module is secured to the insulation layer and exposed towards the cavity. The at least one thermoelectric module is configured to heat or cool the cavity and the battery unit. A sensor is disposed over the battery unit configured to monitor a temperature of the battery unit. A battery management system includes a controller communicatively coupled with the ROV, the sensor, and the at least one thermoelectric module, to selectively operate the thermoelectric module based on the temperature of the battery unit and an ambient temperature condition of the battery pack.
