[0026] The present disclosure describes a tamper proof locking apparatus. The locking apparatus includes an elongated body, where the elongated body includes a head portion at one end and at a teeth portion at a distal end from the elongated body. Extension of the elongated body to a particular position, allows the teeth portion and the head portion to be engaged so that the head portion is receives the teeth portion and form a tamper proof locking arrangement.
[0027] The various embodiments throughout the disclosure will be explained in more detail with reference to FIGs. 1-3.
[0028] FIGs. 1A-1B illustrate example cross sections of a tamper proof locking apparatus (100A, 100B), in accordance embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0029] As illustrated in FIG. 1A, in an embodiment, the tamper proof locking apparatus 100A may include an elongated body 102 with a head portion 104 at one end and at a teeth portion 106 at a distal end from the elongated body 102 such that upon extending the elongated body 102 to a particular position, the teeth portion 106 and the head portion 104 may be engaged and the head portion 104 may be configured to receive the teeth portion 106 and form a locking arrangement. The rupturing of the teeth portion 106 may allow permanent breaking of the locking apparatus 100A and unlock the locking apparatus 100A. This may ensure hundred percent tamper proofing where a high enough locking arrangement may sustain during manual handling as shown in FIG. 1B. Once the locking arrangement is broken, the locking arrangement cannot be repaired or relocked. For example, totes/handbags may be implemented with the locking apparatus (100A, 100B or interchangeably referred as 100) and may ensure security of the totes/handbags.
[0030] In an embodiment, a locking surface 108 may extend away from the teeth portion 106 so that upon extending the locking surface 108 at a predetermined angle 112 along the head portion 104 enables the locking arrangement between the teeth portion 106 with the head portion 104.
[0031] In an embodiment, the head portion 104 may be configured with a space 110 for receiving the locking surface 108 and engaging the locking surface 108 over at least one section of the head portion 104, when the locking surface 108 is extended at the predetermined angle 112.
[0032] In an embodiment, an aperture 114 may be configured between the head portion 104 and the teeth portion 106 such that the aperture 114 may be exposed upon the engagement between the teeth portion 106 and the head portion 104 and may enable permanent breaking of the locking apparatus 100. This way again, hundred tamper proofing is ensured.
[0033] FIG. 2 illustrates an example representation 200 of the tamper proof locking apparatus 100, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0034] As illustrated in FIG. 2, in an embodiment, the tamper proof locking apparatus 100 may be configured such that the elongated body 202 may be extended to a particular position where the teeth portion 206 and the head portion 204 may be engaged and the head portion 204 may be configured to receive the teeth portion 206 to form a locking arrangement. Further, the aperture 214 may be configured between the head portion 204 and the teeth portion 206 such that the aperture 214 may be exposed upon the engagement between the teeth portion 206 and the head portion 204 and may enable permanent breaking of the locking apparatus 200. This way hundred tamper proofing is ensured. This way, a seal/locking arrangement of a fixed length with a unique locking mechanism may be achieved. Further, a high unlock pull force may be achieved with a light weight design.
[0035] FIG. 3 illustrates an example implementation 300 of the tamper proof locking apparatus 100, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0036] As illustrated in FIG. 3, in an embodiment, the tamper proof locking apparatus 100 may be implemented with a bag. Here, the locking apparatus 100 may ensure hundred percent tamper proofing that may sustain during manual handling. Once the locking arrangement is broken, the locking arrangement cannot be repaired or relocked.
[0037] While considerable emphasis has been placed herein on the preferred embodiments, it will be appreciated that many embodiments can be made and that many changes can be made in the preferred embodiments without departing from the principles of the disclosure. These and other changes in the preferred embodiments of the disclosure will be apparent to those skilled in the art from the disclosure herein, whereby it is to be distinctly understood that the foregoing descriptive matter is to be implemented merely as illustrative of the disclosure and not as a limitation.
