Abstract: TRIPLE FUNCTION ISOLATOR PEN (T-FIP) An isolator device (100) for microbial culture isolation and enumeration comprises multiple components. A first section (102) comprises an isolation tip (104) to operate in multiple modes. A splitter ring (106) is connected to the isolation tip (104) and shifts between the multiple modes by movement of the splitter ring (106) along a predefined length of the first section (102) to maintain a single loop configuration or a plurality-loop configuration. A second section (108) comprises a suction member (110) for aspirating and dispensing microbial liquid sample in controlled volumes. A volume setter (112) is connected to the suction member (110). An L-shaped rod (114) positioned at the rear end of the isolator device (100), which injects and spreads the microbial liquid sample. A retraction member (116) is connected to a plunger (110a) of the suction member (110), which automatically returns the volume setter (112) to a default position after each use (Refer FIGURES 1A and 3A).
