COMPLETE SPECIFICATION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
FIELD OF INVENTION:
[001] The present invention relates to the field of vehicle. The present invention in particular relates to an integral rear bumper with tool box, rear lamps and step.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART:
[002] One of the ways in which automobile and truck manufacturers are attempting to improve the average fuel efficiency of the vehicles is by reducing the weight of the vehicle components. Reduction of vehicle weight permits smaller, more fuel efficient engines to be used to power the vehicle. One area under study has been the bumpers which conventionally are made of heavy guage steel. It has been proposed that the bumpers be fabricated of aluminum or plastic material, both of which permit a weight and cost saving over the types of steel conventionally used in bumper fabrication. Bumpers made of aluminum or plastic, however, present fabrication difficulties, and also have met consumer resistance as being of questionable durability and damageability.
[003] Rear bumpers for light trucks and van-type vehicles, in particular, present even greater fabrication difficulties than the ordinary bumper since it is desirable that a step portion be incorporated in the bumper structure to facilitate ingress and egress to the cargo area of the truck or van.
[004] Reference may be made to the following:
[005] Patent No. US3614136 relates to a combined bumper and tool box is provided having a rigid tray which is completely open at the top. A three section hinged cover for the tray is provided comprising a central section and two side sections. The closed central section covers projections on the side sections so that locking the central section closed can lock all three sections closed. The cover sections have inter-engaging parts through which all three sections may be detained in open positions.
[006] Publication No. US4266817A relates to a dual-step rear bumper assembly for a truck. The bumper assembly comprises a main or lower crossmember 15 extending the full width of the truck. The crossmember provides the principal bumper strength and also the lower step (16 or 17) of a dual-step feature. To this crossmember 15 is attached an upper crossmember 28 having tread portions providing the upper step 29 or 31 of the dual-step feature. The bumper assembly ends are capped by end bulkheads 41 and 44. Intermediate bulkheads 42 and 43 box in the ends of the license plate cavity located at the center of the bumper assembly. The bulkheads may be of a much lighter gauge metal then the bumper cross members. The bulkheads provide the necessary vertical compression load resistance to support the weight of a person stepping on the upper step portions.
[007] Publication No. CN217384055 relates to an automobile bumper small logo installation deviation measuring tool, comprising an automobile bumper body and an installation assembly, one side of the automobile bumper body is provided with a fixing ring, one side of the fixing ring far away from the automobile bumper body is provided with an installation groove used for placing an automobile logo, and the fixing ring is buckled with the installation assembly; the mounting assembly comprises a clamping piece, limiting pieces, a piston rod, box bodies, a measuring scale and a limiting column, the clamping piece is of an annular structure, the clamping piece is arranged on the fixing ring in a sleeving mode, the two ends of the clamping piece are fixedly connected with the box bodies, the two box bodies are oppositely arranged, the limiting pieces are arranged in the clamping piece, the two limiting pieces are oppositely arranged, and the piston rod is arranged on the piston rod. The limiting piece is located in the mounting groove and connected with the box body through a piston rod. Through the design of the mounting assembly, the vehicle logo can be conveniently mounted, left-right deviation of the vehicle logo is avoided, the moving distance of the limiting piece can be controlled through a measuring scale, and the precision of the vehicle logo during mounting can be improved.
[008] Publication No. USD278894 relates to combined tool box vehicle bumper, bicycle carrier and air dam.
[009] Publication No. US2019126839 relates to a tool box 10 is shaped for mounting to a rearwardly extending tow bar of a pickup truck, with a bottom wall 24 and upwardly extending front, rear and side walls forming an upper opening for containing tools. The container bottom wall 24 extends rearwardly beyond the rear wall 18 and the bottom wall to form a rearwardly facing license plate recess 33 for receiving a vehicle license plate.
[010] Publication No. US2016114748 relates to a vehicle rear bumper with a utility well or tool box that is incorporated into a portion of a segmented rear bumper having a rearward facing surface that extends angularly forward relative to the back of the vehicle to facilitate access to the utility well and use of the utility well opening perimeter as a stepping surface or edge.
[011] Patent No. US4570986 relates to a bumper assembly for a vehicle comprising a front wall member and an attached bottom wall member supporting two vertical pins. Two tool boxes each include a well to receive a pin for support on the bottom wall member in a manner to allow each box to be pivoted outward away from the front wall member to allow access to the box interior. A center tool compartment is formed between the tool boxes with a hitch receiver extending there through such that the hitch locking pin is positioned in this center compartment. A cover supported on spring loaded hinges allows locking the tool boxes and center compartment.
[012] Patent No. US4274648 relates to a vehicle bumper step formed by an upwardly open frame having clamp members secured to its upper surface for mounting the frame on a vehicle bumper by gripping a bumper flange. Longitudinally adjustable arms, connected with the frame, project toward a vertical surface of the bumper for stabilizing the position of the frame relative to the bumper.
[013] Publication No. CN213442432 relates to a lateral positioning tool for a rear bumper. The lateral positioning tool comprises a body support, a plurality of fixing devices and positioning supporting legs. The size of the body support corresponds to the size of the side frame tail lamp. The fixing devices are installed on the body support and fixed to a vehicle body. And the positioning support leg is mounted on the body bracket and is used for positioning the mounting position of the guide support piece. By means of the lateral positioning tool for the rear bumper, the assembly procedure of parts can be changed, the guide supporting piece is installed firstly, then the rear bumper is installed, and finally the tail lamp is installed. Due to the fact that the rear bumper is not shielded by the tail lamp when being installed, the rear bumper can be installed on the guide supporting piece under the visual condition, and it is guaranteed that the rear bumper is installed in place. In addition, the height of the positioning supporting leg can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the gasket, so that the Z-direction positioning position of the guide supporting piece can be adjusted, and the influence of the assembling position caused by the size deviation of the tail lamp part when the tail lamp is installed in advance is avoided.
[014] Patent No. US4620609 relates to a removable bumper step for vehicles comprises a rigid plate having an upper, generally planar foot supporting surface terminating in a front end. The front end bends into a hook formation and is adapted to engage the upper edge of a vehicle bumper when the plate is positioned horizontally over the upper surface of the bumper. Means engaged with the plate adapt to contact the upper surface of the bumper rearwardly of the hook formation. The hook formation and means cooperate to maintain the plate in a horizontal attitude under the weight of a user. Varying vehicle bumper widths are accommodated by adjusting the means relative to the plate. Friction enhancing material adheres respectively to the foot supporting surface and the means. This material provides secure footing for a user, and stabilizes the engagement of the step to the vehicle bumper.
