Steering Lock For Two Wheeled Vehicles

Abstract: ABSTRACT STEERING LOCK FOR TWO-WHEELED VEHICLES The present subject matter discloses a steering lock (100, 200, 300, 400, 5 500) for a two wheeled vehicle. The steering lock includes an outer casing (102, 202, 302, 402, 502), a lock barrel (104, 308, 404, 508) rotatably mounted within the outer casing, and a cam-actuated rotor (106, 310, 406, 510) rotatable by the lock barrel, wherein rotation of the lock barrel (104, 308, 404, 508) causes rotation of the cam-actuated rotor. The steering lock 10 also includes a spring-loaded plunger (108, 312, 408, 512) slidably mounted within a laterally protruding portion (208, 304, 504) of the outer casing, the plunger oriented perpendicular to the rotational axis of the lock barrel and an aperture (118) in the outer casing aligned with the plunger to allow the plunger to extend beyond the lock barrel when actuated to engage with a 15 steering mechanism of the two-wheeled vehicle. 22
