Abstract: A data verification device (1) for verifying electronic data registered in a distributed ledger (5) comprises a data verification unit (8), a data control unit (7), and a data registration unit (10). The data verification unit (8) assesses whether or not registration data registered in the distributed ledger (5) conforms to a verification rule, which is a rule for verifying the electronic data registered in the distributed ledger (5). The data control unit (7) assesses whether or not the data verification unit (8) is generated within a blockchain. If it is assessed that the data verification unit (8) is generated within the blockchain and that the registration data conforms to the verification rule, the data registration unit (10) registers the registration data in the distributed ledger (5).
