Abstract: A data processing device for battery appearance inspection according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: at least one processor; and a memory that stores at least one instruction executed via the at least one processor. Here, the at least one instruction may include: a first instruction for generating, on the basis of an image captured of the outer surface of a battery, a first image in which the battery surface is expressed visually; an instruction for generating a second image in which depth information about the outer surface of the battery is expressed visually, the second image being generated by matching the first image and three-dimensional shape data for the outer surface of the battery; and an instruction for outputting at least one of the first image or the second image through a predefined graphical user interface (GUI).
