Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel bamboo tea formulation and method for producing the bamboo tea formulation to enhance nutritional value and maximize antioxidant properties, derived from the leaves of sustainable bamboo species such as Bambusa vulgaris and Bambusa tulda. The bamboo tea is produced through a method involving the careful washing, drying and extraction of bamboo leaves using purified water, followed by optional flavour enhancements with natural agents like Cestrum diurnum, Clitoria Ternatea, Chamomile flowers, Mulberry leaves, Stevia leaves, Roselle sabdariffa clayx and Lemon grass leaves. This process not only preserves the integrity of bioactive compounds but also intensifies flavour and nutrient density. The resulting beverage is rich in antioxidants, providing significant health benefits including support for immune function and digestive health. Packaged in eco-friendly materials, this bamboo tea offers a refreshing and nutritious alternative to traditional beverages while promoting sustainable practices in the tea industry. The invention addresses the growing consumer demand for health-oriented and environmentally conscious beverage options.
