Specification

Description:AN INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR MANAGING AND FACILITATING USER SERVICES AT FUELING STATIONS
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] This invention relates to the area of digital platforms and the new and smarter ways of moving people and things. Specifically, it pertains to a mobile application system for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) refuelling services, including real-time information, cashless payments, and other collaborations with the fuel sellers and public authorities for enhanced usability, eco-friendliness, and overall usability.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] The growing usage of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as an environmentally friendly motor fuel brings out important issues in the refuelling paradigm and ecosystem. The most concerning matters are the persistent queues and excessive waiting times at CNG stations which prove to be highly inconvenient for motorists. Apart from that, the absence of real-time availability information makes it impossible for users to know which stations are open, busy, or temporarily closed. Moreover, CNG refuelling stations have limited and fragmented payment systems, which add to the user friction in the refuelling process.
[0003] One key challenge to the current infrastructure is the absence of an integrated system that combines and crosses important information from relevant government and fuel companies. The lack of such strategic links means that efficient services cannot be provided, and smarter and advanced solutions for the public cannot be designed.
[0004] Only a few mobile apps are available, and their usage is limited to basic navigation and digital payments. They do not blend real-time information, various payment methods, and collaboration with fuel corporations and public institutions. The lack of such a comprehensive technological solution creates a clear gap.
[0005] The current invention fulfills this gap by offering a comprehensive mobile application to optimize and improve the CNG fuel station scheduling and usage in a single mobile app. It, therefore, provides a step further in achieving the Digital India initiative while reducing emissions and improving the transportation ecosystem.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0006] The goals of the current mobile application patent are to develop the application “CNeG” which provides functionalities to help the user track CNG fueling station locations, make reservations, and streamline CNG refueling management with live notifications.
[0007] Another focus of the invention is to encourage usage among various population segments by implementing a dual payment system, subscription-based and pay-per-use, making both options available and user-friendly.
[0008] This invention is focused on achieving ease and increased usability through an all-in-one display with a streamlined layout and simple workflows which is a prerequisite to widespread usage. This is achieved through integration with fuel companies and government systems to make certain all the system’s information is verified, accurate, and transparent.
[0009] The invention is further intended to advocate for the reduction of emissions and sustainability by helping users with the scheduling of their refueling to ensure they make fewer trips. It is meant to be a scalable, nation-wide solution that is in line with the Digital India goals.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0010] This invention offers an all inclusive CNG refueling management solution “CNeG” which is implemented as a mobile application, thus, elevating and streamlining the refueling experience. The application’s backbone supports a cloud based scalable backend infrastructure system which is capable of handling a multitude of concurrent users’ nation wide.
[0011] The platform offers a set of integrated services. To empower drivers avoid waiting queues, the system has an integrated module which retrieves and presents in a dashboard the real time updates on stations availability, waiting times and fuel stock information. In addition to stations informing users via notifications, drivers standing in queues can now check through the application to see whether they are next in line which solves the problem of idle waiting. The platform’s flexible and easy to use payment modules integration with UPI, digital wallets, and cng payment gate enables effortless fuel payment through subscriptions and pay per use.
[0012] The user interface of the platform is further enhanced by the integration of voice and location which expands the services of the application to a larger audience. The coordinated collaboration with fuel companies, government agencies, and other platform users guarantee the reliability of the data which streamlines the process of adopting the application nationally. In addition to emphasized convenience with the enhanced scheduling and route planning, the invention saves fuel as well as emissions and waste supporting the environmentally friendly goal.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0013] Various modifications and alternative forms, specific embodiment thereof has been shown by way of example in the figures and will be described below. It should be understood, however, that it is not intended to limit the disclosure to the forms disclosed, but on the contrary, the disclosure is to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternative falling within the scope of the disclosure.
[0014] The terms “comprise,” “comprising,” or any other variations thereof used in the disclosure, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a device, system, assembly that comprises a list of components does not include only those components but may include other components not expressly listed or inherent to such system, or assembly, or device. In other words, one or more elements in a system or device proceeded by “comprises… a” does not, without more constraints, preclude the existence of other elements or additional elements in the system or device.
[0015] This embodiment of the invention offers a mobile application called “CNeG” which provides a comprehensive solution for CNG refueling services. Their underlying application framework is based on a number of interconnected modules for a unified user experience.
[0016] The application's most important component is its real-time updates. It fetches information from fuel stations and governmental authorities to provide users real-time information on fuel stations as well as other critical parameters. These parameters include fuel station operational status, fuel availability, queue length, and wait time analysis, enabling drivers to avoid long waiting times.
[0017] The platform offers a flexible dual payment system to satisfy the user requirements. The users are able to use subscription based model with monthly or annual packages for frequent users, or a pay-per-use model for on-demand payments. The system is fully automated with payments using UPI, debit or credit cards, and mobile wallets for easy and safe payments. The interface is user friendly, simple, and offers multiple languages with a hands free search feature that makes booking and navigation for stations accessible to a broad user base.
[0018] A pivotal part of the innovation is the strong partnership and integration layer. The application partners with fuel companies to obtain and verify station data through APIs, ensuring its precision and trustworthiness. It also collaborates with government agencies for data verification and authentication, allowing the platform to compliance with policy-driven growth and aid initiatives like Digital India.
[0019] The innovation assists users in reducing vehicle idle time through optimizing refuelling schedules and routes, thereby reducing fuel and emissions. The innovation positions the platform as an effective driver to sustainability. The infrastructure is cloud-based to allow for system-wide and regional adoption, giving the infrastructure the ability to scale nationwide. The platform also has an advanced data analytics module that reveals demand and infrastructure gaps in anticipating future revisions, thus yielding actionable insights.
