Electrode Assembly And Electrochemical Device Including Same

Abstract: Provided is an electrode assembly including a negative electrode structure and multiple positive electrodes. The negative electrode structure includes a first and a second separator and a lithium metal layer interposed between the first and the second separator. The negative electrode structure is divided into multiple stack parts, multiple folding parts, and a first and a second wrapping part according to a position in an electrode assembly. In the negative electrode structure, stack parts and folding parts are alternatively disposed between a first and a second wrapping part disposed at the ends, respectively, and the first and the second wrapping part are in contact with the stack parts, respectively. The electrode assembly has multiple stack parts sequentially arranged side by side in the thickness direction by folding parts, and has at least one positive electrode between stack parts adjacent to each other in the thickness direction. The electrode assembly has a structure in which a second wrapping part is disposed to be in contact with a first wrapping part, and outer surfaces thereof in the thickness direction and the longitudinal direction are surrounded by the second wrapping part or one or more of the second wrapping part, the first wrapping part, and an outmost stack part.
