Abstract: The present invention provides a battery module, comprising: a housing (100) having an empty space (S) therein; a plurality of bus bars (200) installed at one end and the other end of the empty space (S) in a first direction; a plurality of battery cells (300) arranged in the empty space (S), arranged side by side in a second direction intersecting the first direction and the vertical direction, and in contact with the bus bars (200); and one or more barrier walls (400) which extend in the first direction and the vertical direction and are installed between a pair of battery cells (300) arranged adjacent to each other in the second direction to partition the empty space (S) in the second direction, and extend to one end or the other end of the housing (100) in the first direction such that the one end or the other end of the empty space (S) in the first direction is partitioned in the second direction. The bus bars (200), individually installed on one side and the other side of the barrier walls (400) in the second direction with the barrier walls (400) interposed therebetween are physically separated in the second direction by means of the barrier walls (400).
