Abstract: Disclosed is a battery having a structure in which a protection member is applied between an electrode assembly and a beading part. The battery according to an aspect of the invention comprises: an electrode assembly; a battery housing forming an opening part on one side, receiving the electrode assembly through the opening part, and including a beading part formed by press-fitting the circumference of the outer circumferential surface from the opening part; a top cap covering the opening part; and a first protection member between the beading part and the electrode assembly.
