Abstract: Provided is a battery cell including an electrode assembly and a pouch case for sealing the electrode assembly together with an electrolyte, wherein: the pouch case includes a reception part in which the electrode assembly is received and a sealing part disposed outside the reception part and sealing the electrode assembly; the sealing part includes a strong sealing region and a weak sealing region; and the sealing part includes a venting path which is formed by the weak sealing region and includes an entrance positioned on an inner surface of the sealing part to be connected to the reception part and an exit positioned on an outer surface of the sealing part to be integrally connected to the entrance.
