Electrode Assembly And Lithium Secondary Battery Comprising Same

Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode assembly and a lithium secondary battery comprising same, the electrode assembly comprising: a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material layer; a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material layer; a separation membrane; and an air pore closing part, wherein: the separation membrane is disposed between the negative electrode and the positive electrode; the width of the negative electrode active material layer is greater than the width of the positive electrode active material layer; the separation membrane includes a separation membrane body part which vertically overlaps the positive electrode active material layer, and a separation membrane extension part which does not vertically overlap the positive electrode active material layer and extends from the separation membrane body part; and the air pore closing part is disposed on one surface or opposite surfaces of the separation membrane extension part, and air porosity of the air pore closing part may be 1% or less.
