Abstract: A battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cell case comprising a plurality of battery cells each comprising a first terminal having a vent portion and a second terminal arranged to be spaced apart from the first terminal, an insertion hole which is open so that the plurality of battery cells can be inserted, a bottom portion on which the plurality of battery cells are seated, and a plurality of first terminal holes provided in the bottom portion; and a first protection member provided to surround the first terminal holes through which the second terminals are exposed while the battery cells are seated on the bottom portion of the cell case so that the second terminals of the battery cells are exposed through the first terminal holes.
