Separator For Electrochemical Device

Abstract: The present invention relates to a separator, and an electrochemical device comprising same. The separator of the present invention comprises a porous polyolefin substrate having improved wettability, and a porous coating layer with excellent adhesiveness thereto. Specifically, the separator comprises the porous polyolefin substrate and the porous coating layer formed on at least one surface of the porous polyolefin substrate, wherein the porous polyolefin substrate includes a cross-linked polyolefin resin, the cross-linked polyolefin resin includes silicon-containing organic groups grafted to a polyolefin chain, the porous coating layer includes inorganic particles and a binder polymer, and the inorganic particles include boehmite (AlO(OH)).
