Abstract: The present invention relates to a battery module which can prevent or delay the destruction of a connector by an internally generated flame, and can thereby delay heat transfer to the outside. The battery module according to the present invention may comprise: a cell assembly including a plurality of cells; a busbar frame on which busbars that electrically connect the cell assemblies to each other are arranged; end plates which are disposed on both ends of the cell assembly and cover the busbar frame; a circuit board which contacts the busbar and is electrically connected to the cell assembly; a connector which electrically connects the outside and the circuit board; and a protective plate which is disposed between the circuit board and the connector and prevents deformation of the connector due to heat.
