Abstract: A coil unit (5) comprises: a coil (10) including a coil element (10i) that is formed in a spiral shape around a given central axis line C; a magnetic body resin layer (20); a first shield member (30); and a second shield member (40). The coil (10) has a first main surface (10a) and a second main surface (10b) that is a surface on the side opposite to the first main surface (10a). The magnetic body resin layer (20) is in direct contact with the second main surface (10b) of the coil (10). The coil (10), the magnetic body resin layer (20), the first shield member (30), and the second shield member (40) are laminated in the stated order in a direction from the first main surface (10a) toward the second main surface (10b). The first shield member (30) is divided into multiple small shield pieces (30P).
