Abstract: This power conversion device of one mode of an embodiment is a power conversion device in which for the position of an electric motor, the detection result of the position is outputted from a position sensor each first cycle, and a delay time occurs from a first timing at which the detection result of the position of the electric motor is updated by the position sensor to a second timing at which the information on the position of the electric motor is acquired each second cycle during the control cycle of the electric motor. The power conversion device comprises a compensation amount adjustment unit and a control unit. The compensation amount adjustment unit counts the time from the first timing to the second timing and generates a compensation value for compensating the position information on the basis of the counting result. The control unit implements position control on the electric motor on the basis of the compensated result position information and information on the position command of the electric motor.
