Needle Tip Protector For Winged Needles

Abstract: The present invention provides a needle tip protector for winged needles which has a novel structure, wherein, in a structure having four protective pieces, when two wing parts of a winged needle are inserted into slits on both peripheral direction sides of one protective piece, it is possible to prevent the needle tip of the winged needle from being re-exposed toward the tip end side. Provided is a needle tip protector (10) for winged needles that protects a winged needle (46) having two wing parts (58, 58), wherein: slits (38) into which the wing parts (58) of the winged needle (46) can be inserted are formed between four protective pieces (36, 36, 36, 36) in the peripheral direction thereof, the protective pieces being disposed side-by-side in a cylindrical shape; four accommodation window parts (34, 34, 34, 34) that are connected with respective slits (38) are provided at the base end side of the protective pieces (36); and each slit (38) is connected to a respective accommodation window part (34) at a position that is offset from both ends of the accommodation window part (34) and from the center of the accommodation window part (34) in the peripheral direction.
