Abstract: A fluid filter cartridge (1) comprising at least a filter element (50) forming a fluid channel (52) with a longitudinal axis (2), a front-end cap (40) being sealingly attached to a front side of the filter element (50), a rear-end cap (60) being sealingly attached to a rear side of the filter element (50), a through hole (42) in the front-end cap (40) a conduit (30) being formed by a conduit wall (32), wherein the conduit wall (32) is attached to the front-end cap (40) and in fluid communication with the fluid channel (52) via the through hole (42) in the front-end cap (40), and wherein the conduit has front end (34) facing away from the rear-end cap (60) and a number of n pins 20i, 3 = i = n extending from an inner surface of the conduit wall (32) at azimuthal positions (I), wherein the pins 20i each have a forward facing surface, facing away from the rear-end cap (60) and wherein the pins 20i are spaced from each other in the azimuthal direction by a distance (II) and wherein the nth-pin 20n is azimuthally neighbored to the first pin 201; and wherein (III) is the azimuthal span of the ith-pin 20i can be manufactured at low costs while enabling to azimuthally position the fluid filter cartridge on a fluid filter socket, if the distances di between the forward facing surfaces 24i and a reference plane (12) increase with the respective azimuthal positions fi of the ith-pin 20i by ?di, from the first pin 201 towards the nth-pin 20n and by a value of (IV) from the nth-pin 20n to the first pin 201; wherein the reference plane (12) is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 2 and either at the front or at rear side of all n pins 20i and a is an error margin, i.e. a E {0.25, 0.2, 0.15, 0.1, 0.05, 0.025, 0.01,0 }.
