Electrode Assembly And Electrochemical Device Including Same

Abstract: Provided is an electrode assembly comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator. In the electrode assembly, the negative electrode includes lithium metal and is arranged between two notched separators to form a negative electrode structure. The negative electrode structure includes a structure in which a negative electrode structure and a positive electrode are alternately stacked. In the negative electrode structure, the negative electrode is exposed to the outside through a notched region of the separator. The electrode assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention can form a tab without cutting or welding a negative electrode, thus not only improving processability, but also having a stable structure, thereby enhancing the performance of a battery.
