Abstract: This carbon dioxide recovery apparatus comprises: a first adsorption chamber having an intake opening that is open to the air, and an exhaust opening; a fan; a damper that can close the first adsorption chamber; a first adsorption unit that can adsorb carbon dioxide; a second adsorption chamber provided together with the first adsorption chamber; a connection piping that connects the first adsorption chamber to the second adsorption chamber; a second adsorption unit that is disposed inside the second adsorption chamber, and that can adsorb carbon dioxide; an opening/closing valve disposed in the connection piping; a first desorption unit that causes desorption of the carbon dioxide adsorbed to the first adsorption unit; a second desorption unit that causes desorption of the carbon dioxide adsorbed to the second adsorption unit; and a suction unit that is connected to the second adsorption unit, and that can draw in gas from inside the first adsorption chamber and inside the second adsorption chamber.
