Abstract: The present invention relates to a secondary battery and a production method for a negative electrode for a secondary battery, comprising: a current collector; a first negative electrode active material layer provided on the current collector; and a second negative electrode active material layer provided on the first negative electrode active material layer, wherein the first negative electrode active material layer comprises isostatic compression-treated natural graphite, and the second negative electrode active material layer comprises artificial graphite in the form of secondary particles and artificial graphite in the form of single particles.
