Abstract: A battery management device according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document may comprise: one or more capacitors connected to each of one or more batteries; and a controller for applying a current to the one or more capacitors and precharging same, measuring the voltage of each of the one or more capacitors, and controlling the impedance measurement of the one or more batteries on the basis of whether the voltage of the one or more capacitors is within a threshold range.
