Cathod Material For Lithium Sulfur Battery And Lithium Sulfur Battery Including The Same

Abstract: The present invention relates to a carbon composite for use in a cathode of a lithium-sulfur battery and a method for preparing same. The carbon composite comprises: a porous carbon substrate; transition metal composite particles located on at least one of the outer surface and pore inner surface of the porous carbon substrate, and comprising a core portion including transition metal particles and a carbon coating layer covering at least a portion of the surface of the core portion; and at least one heteroatom doped in the carbon coating layer, wherein the heteroatom is at least one selected from nitrogen (N), sulfur (S), and oxygen (O).
