Cylindrical Secondary Battery Comprising Top Cap

Abstract: A cylindrical secondary battery according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cylindrical can adapted to receive an electrode assembly; and a top cap adapted to cover an open top of the cylindrical can, wherein the top cap comprises an intermediate layer including: a first conductive part; a second conductive part disposed below the first conductive part and electrically connected to the electrode assembly; and a third conductive part which is disposed between the first conductive part and the second conductive part, is in contact with the first conductive part and the second conductive part, and melts when the temperature is greater than or equal to a predetermined temperature to release the contact between the first conductive part and the second conductive part, and the intermediate layer may comprise a gasket part which is disposed between the first conductive part and the second conductive part and forms a through region from the third conductive part, with the third conductive part disposed to be penetrated.
