Abstract: The purpose is to provide a method for controlling a culture device that permits conducting culture under a more suitable culture environment. The method for controlling a culture device 1 that inputs a set value SV that sets the culture environment to control the culture device that conducts culture, wherein the method comprises: a first step S1 that acquires a present value PV of the culture environment at the set value SV and an analysis value AV of the culture broth c obtained by culture at a predetermined timing; a second step S2 that derives by machine learning a function F for determining a new set value SV that resets the culture environment using the present value PV and analysis value AV acquired at the predetermined timing; and a third step S3 that determines a new set value SV based on a desired target value TV of the culture broth using the function F, inputs this new set value SV, and conducts culture; and the function F used in the third step S3 is a new function F derived from time to time by machine learning, including the newest present value PV and analysis value AV acquired at the predetermined timing.
