Battery Module And Battery Pack Including Same

Abstract: A battery module according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked: a module frame which accommodates the battery cell stack and includes side surface parts respectively covering both side surfaces of the battery cell stack in the stacking direction of the battery cells; and at least one compression pad disposed between adjacent battery cells among the battery cells or between the outermost battery cell among the battery cells and the side surface part. The reserved space ratio of each of the battery cells is 3% or more on the basis of the stacking direction of the battery cells.
