Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for collecting foreign substances generated during laser notching and a method for collecting foreign substances by using same and specifically to a device for collecting foreign substances generated during laser notching and a method for collecting foreign substances by using same the device having an electrode supplied to be in close contact with the outer surface of a cylindrical rotating drum and irradiating the electrode with a laser beam so as to collect foreign substances generated when notching an edge part of the electrode and comprising: a foreign substance collection unit positioned such that one open surface thereof faces a notched part of the electrode so as to collect foreign substances; a foreign substance transfer unit positioned below the foreign substance collection unit so as to transfer the collected foreign substances; a blowing unit positioned above the foreign substance collection unit so as to spray air downward; and a scrap guide unit for downwardly guiding to the outside of the foreign substance collection unit scrap generated by the notching.
