Abstract: The present invention provides a battery unit structure in which a venting area is expanded through a rupture due to an increase in internal pressure even if an existing venting hole is blocked, so that gas can be discharged and the ejection of material and flames can be prevented. The battery unit structure according to one aspect of the invention comprises: a battery cell; a battery housing having an accommodation space in which the battery cell is accommodated, and having, on at least one side thereof, a venting part for discharging gas generated by the battery cell; and a battery cover for covering the battery cell, wherein the venting part can include: a discharge part having a venting hole for discharging the gas, and a rupture part that ruptures if the internal pressure of the accommodation space becomes greater than or equal to a predetermined pressure; and a mesh part positioned to face the accommodation space with the discharge part therebetween.
