Lithium Secondary Battery

Abstract: The present invention provides a lithium secondary battery comprising a cathode, an anode, a separator and a nonaqueous electrolyte, wherein the cathode comprises a cathode active material, the cathode active material comprises lithium iron phosphate particles, the loading amount of the cathode is 450 mg/25 cm2 to 740 mg/25 cm2, the nonaqueous electrolyte comprises a lithium salt, an organic solvent and an additive, the organic solvent comprises a cyclic carbonate-based solvent and a linear carbonate-based solvent, the cyclic carbonate-based solvent includes ethylene carbonate, the linear carbonate-based solvent includes dimethyl carbonate, the dimethyl carbonate is included in an amount of 5-75 vol% in the organic solvent, the additive includes vinylene carbonate, and the ratio of the weight of the vinylene carbonate to the weight of the dimethyl carbonate is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 0.2.
