Carbon Dioxide Recovery System

Abstract: This carbon dioxide recovery system comprises: an iron-making facility; a gas turbine which drives a turbine by means of a combustion gas generated by burning a first gas discharged from the iron-making facility; a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a second gas discharged from the turbine of a gas turbine and a heat medium; and a carbon dioxide recovery device for recovering carbon dioxide from the second gas which has been heat-exchanged with the heat medium in the heat exchanger. The carbon dioxide recovery device comprises: an absorption tower that causes the carbon dioxide to be absorbed in an absorbent by bringing the second gas into contact with the absorbent; a regeneration tower that heats the absorbent that has absorbed the carbon dioxide in the absorption tower and causes the carbon dioxide to be released from the absorbent; and a reboiler which heats the absorbent by means of heat exchange between the absorbent inside the regeneration tower and the heat medium which has been heat-exchanged with the second gas in the heat exchanger.
