Abstract: The present invention provides a battery module with enhanced safety. A battery module according to an aspect of the invention comprises: a cell stack comprising multiple battery cells stacked in at least one direction; a module case configured to accommodate the cell stack; a busbar assembly configured to electrically connect the multiple battery cells, the busbar assembly comprising busbar terminals and a busbar frame configured such that the busbar terminals are seated thereon; and a cover member extending from one end of the busbar frame toward the cell stack to cover at least a portion of the cell stack.
